RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Order Confirmation & Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order through Emily’s Closet, you confirm that you have carefully read, understood, and agreed to this Return & Refund Policy.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:
- You accept the conditions and deadlines for returns
- You agree to follow the return procedure outlined below
- In case of a dispute or chargeback, this policy and all related order records may be used as supporting evidence
Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order, provided that all conditions below are met.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
- The item must be in its original condition and packaging
- Only standard inspection and handling are permitted
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
Once your return is received, it will be reviewed and processed within 7 business days.
We reserve the right to deny a return if the item shows signs of:
- Improper use
- Excessive wear
- Damage not caused by us
How to Request a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to canada2wear@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery
- Include the following details:
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Photos of the item (if damaged or defective)
- Full name and shipping address
- Wait for return instructions before sending your item
Important:
- Do not send any items back without prior approval
- Unauthorized returns may not be accepted
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method and keeping proof of shipment until your return has been completed.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery via canada2wear@gmail.com.
Include:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or a short video showing the defect
After review:
- A replacement may be offered, depending on availability
- In some cases, returning the item may not be required
Replacements are typically processed within 7–14 business days.
Lost or Undelivered Packages
If your order is lost during shipping:
- Contact us with your order number and tracking details
- We will assist in filing a claim with the carrier
- If confirmed lost, a replacement or refund will be arranged
If a package is:
- Refused at delivery
- Not collected
- Returned due to an incorrect address
A $35 CAD fee will be deducted from your refund to cover shipping and handling costs.
Order Cancellation & Withdrawal
You have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving it.
However:
- Orders that have already been shipped cannot be canceled
- In such cases, you must follow the return process after delivery

Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
Disputes & Chargebacks
If you experience any issues with your order, please contact us first. We are committed to resolving concerns quickly and fairly.
In the event of a chargeback, we may provide your payment provider with:
- Order confirmation
- Shipping and tracking details
- Communication history
- Supporting evidence such as photos
Filing a chargeback without contacting us beforehand may delay the resolution process and impact future purchases.
Additional Information
- All returns must be shipped to our international warehouse at the customer’s expense
- We are not responsible for shipping delays or customs-related issues
- Items that are used, worn, or not hygienic will not be accepted
- Return shipping costs are not covered by us
